VINTAGE 44 Piece Feather Edge Pattern Silver Plate CUTLERY CANTEEN by George Butler Sheffield. Here we have for sale a lovely vintage 44 piece feather edge pattern silver plate cutlery canteen that was made by George Butler Ltd of Sheffield and dates from the 1990s. This set comes in a wood canteen case. The stainless steel cutlery is in the popular feather edge pattern. It is complete for 6 place settings and comprises 44 pieces in total, grouped as follows.
6 x Dinner Forks (Length: 19cm). 6 x Dinner Knives (Length: 24cm). 6 x Dessert Forks (Length: 17.5cm). 6 x Dessert Knives (Length: 21cm).
6 x Dessert Spoons (Length: 18.5cm). 6 x Soup Spoons (Length: 17.5cm). 6 x Teaspoons (Length: 13.5cm). 2 x Serving Spoons (Length: 22cm).
1 x Canteen Case - 45cm x 30cm x 12cm. Weight of set incl case: approximately 8kg. The knives are silver plated with stainless steel bla des and the remaining pieces are all silver plate. The high quality cutlery is in excellent condition for its age and appears only lightly used with just occasional very minor wear here and there.The case's exterior is in excellent vintage condition with only a few minor marks as pictured. The case's hinges are in full working order and the lid lifts smoothly to 90 degrees.
