Vintage 1960s/1970s Old Hall Campden Modernist Steel 54 pc Cutlery Set & Canteen
A smashing set of Mid Century stainless steel cutlery designed by Robert Welch for Old Hall Tableware in the 1950s. This is the Campden pattern - with a Modernist shape and satin finish. Contained in the original dark wood canteen, with a green felt lining - the set consists of. 6 table knives, 6 table forks, 6 dessert knives, 6 dessert forks, 6 soup spoons, 6 dessert spoons, 6 teaspoons and 12 fish knives and forks (54 pieces in all). The fish knives and forks have been added to the original set by myself, and I think that they have more of a shiny finish.
They also have received a little more use than the other pieces, which are in an excellent minimally used condition - the fisheaters have a few scratches, particularly to the knife blades. They are of the same period as the other pieces though - circa 1960s - 1970s.
The canteen itself has some scratches to the exterior, but it's in a really good vintage condition considering the age. Perfect for a fan of Mid Century Modern style - iconic pieces from a famous designer! Please note that these items are stored in part of the house away from the rest of the family, I have no symptoms of the virus, and I wash my hands before packing anything - we are being very careful when we leave the house (rarely).
After time spent in the post, items should not then be contaminated, even if they had been (which is unlikely).
