This is a canteen of vintage Viners Chelsea-pattern stainless steel cutlery an award-winning design from 1961. It isnt new, but similarly it isnt heavily used. The cutlery is high-polished bit with a milled finish to the handles. As with any good midcentury design, it looks simple and clean but ultimately offers a little bit more. Set includes 44 pieces: 2x serving spoons, 6x starter knives; 6x starter forks, 6x dinner knives, 6x dinner forks, 6x soup spoons, 6x dessert spoons, 6x teaspoons.
The canteen box is original, is in excellent shape and is teak, I believe. Best guess here is that this was a broadly unused wedding present (as ever). Any questions, please ask, but this is a very clean, complete vintage example of a classic set.
